A future-forward, strategy-driven practice that maps the potential of tomorrow with design
Services
For TDGDC, design thinking is a practice driven by purpose, and anchored in human sciences.
It is a continuous, iterative process where we understand the user needs,
challenge status quo and redefine problems so we can reimagine solutions
that might not be obvious to us at first. It is the fastest way
to architect a hypothetical yet pragmatic future.
At the same time, design thinking is a calculated approach towards solving problems.
It involves a balanced “jugalbandi” of hands-on, minds-on and hearts-on methods
with prototyping being the eventual outcome.

studioDG
StudioDg is a co-lab of scientific, engineering and creative minds dedicated
to prototyping ideas of future aesthetics.
This experimental laboratory invites engineers, scientists, folk artists, historians, aestheticians,
architects to come together to envision a liveable, exciting future, in the year 3080.
We will radically re-imagine factory objects, wearables, spaces, experiences dedicated to
my grandchildren’s grandchildren, who will (hopefully) see purpose in what we create,
in their present.

About Me
With 15 years of experience in Asia and Africa markets as a transformative impact strategist,
I founded The Darshan-Gandhi Design Company (TDGDC), a future-forward practice that maps
the potential of tomorrow with design, while rooted in the fundamentals of business, empathy and
innovation.
My work largely involves applying design thinking at the intersections of
commerce, culture and creativity, to maximise growth and impact.
The core purpose of my practice is to democratize and institutionalize 21st century design,
for different kinds and sizes of organizations across industries.
As a strategist and designer, I find it imperative to integrate creative process and foundation with
the help of design interventions, using bespoke tools as well as methods that bridge design,
business and impact.
